Open for enrollment: the PRIMIER study

The Patients Receiving Integrative Medicine Interventions Effectiveness Registry (PRIMIER) study is open for enrollment! Integrative medicine clinics across the country are participating in PRIMIER in the hopes of better understanding how integrative medicine affects patients’ physical and emotional health. Preliminary results from PRIMIER have shown that patients seeking care at integrative medicine clinics show decreased pain, perceived stress, and depression scores over a 6-month period.

Any individual who has been seen as a patient at Duke Integrative Medicine is eligible for this study, which requires subjects to complete online surveys that assess key health measures such as tobacco use, alcohol use, and exercise frequency over a period of 1 year.  If you are interested in participating in PRIMIER, please reach out to study coordinator Elizabeth Bechard at elizabeth.matteson@duke.edu or 919-660-6762. We hope to hear from you soon!
